How to configure a Voice Delivery PIN in Everbridge Suite.

A Voice Delivery PIN is a numeric code that call recipients must enter when receiving a call from an Organization. This adds an extra layer of security to voice calls.

Configuring the PIN

To configure a Voice Delivery PIN, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired Organization from the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Notifications > Default Options.
  3. Select the checkbox next to Voice Delivery PIN and create a PIN by entering a 4-10 digit number in the text field.
  4. Click Save.

Using the PIN in Notifications

Once the Voice Delivery PIN is configured, follow the steps below to enable it for a Notification:

  1. Navigate to Communications > Notifications > New Notification
  2. Create the Notification as desired.
  3. Scroll down to Settings and click on the Edit link.
  4. Click More options at the end of the Settings section.
  5. Scroll down to the Voice delivery PIN pane and select the Yes radio button.

NOTE: Once the Voice Delivery PIN is enabled for the Notification, the Voicemail preference toggles to No Message.
