How to configure a Voice Delivery PIN in Everbridge Suite.
Description
A Voice Delivery PIN is a numeric code that call recipients must enter when receiving a call from an Organization. This adds an extra layer of security to voice calls.
Configuring the PIN
To configure a Voice Delivery PIN, follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired Organization from the upper right-hand corner.
- Navigate to Settings > Notifications > Default Options.
- Select the checkbox next to Voice Delivery PIN and create a PIN by entering a 4-10 digit number in the text field.
- Click Save.
Using the PIN in Notifications
Once the Voice Delivery PIN is configured, follow the steps below to enable it for a Notification:
- Navigate to Communications > Notifications > New Notification.
- Create the Notification as desired.
- Scroll down to Settings and click on the Edit link.
- Click More options at the end of the Settings section.
- Scroll down to the Voice delivery PIN pane and select the Yes radio button.
NOTE: Once the Voice Delivery PIN is enabled for the Notification, the Voicemail preference toggles to No Message.
