How to determine if a contact is registered in Everbridge (either the Everbridge application, the Everbridge member portal or both.)

Description:

Contacts may be registered in either the Everbridge application, Everbridge member portal or both. Contacts register in the member portal via an email registration invite or by logging in with their network credentials known as Single Sign-On (SSO). Contacts register with the mobile application via a quick registration invite.

Preferred Method:

The best way to determine if a contact is registered in Everbridge Suite is to use the Advanced Search function under Contacts.

  1. Log in to your organization.
  2. Select Contacts/Assets from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Contacts > Contact List from the drop-down menu.
  4. Choose Advanced from the top right of the page.
  5. Under ADVANCED SEARCH, Add Filter Search, Select Field, choose Registered.
  6. Change Condition to True.
  7. Click the Search button.

This will return all contacts in your organization that are registered in Everbridge Suite. This includes all contacts registered in either the Everbridge application, member portal or both.

Other Methods:

Another way to determine if a contact is registered in Everbridge, is to look for registration invitation icons User-added image beside the edit pencil icon on the left side of the contact record when viewing a list of contacts under Contacts/Assets > Contacts > Contact List. The envelope indicates they have not registered for the Member Portal and the red icon indicates that they have not registered for the mobile app. However, if they log in via SSO they could have both of these icons and still be registered. The most accurate way to verify if a contact has registered, is to use the Advanced Search option described above.
