This article describes how to create a custom report in Everbridge Suite (EBS) to identify contact delivery methods, such as SMS, email, and voice.
Description
Custom reports can be configured within the Manager Portal to extract contact data fields related to delivery paths. This approach enables validation of communication coverage and ensures that appropriate delivery methods are assigned across contact records.
Generating this report provides the following benefits:
- Validation of contact delivery configurations across the organization
- Identification of missing or incomplete delivery methods
- Support for compliance and audit requirements
- Improved notification reach and reliability
Configuring the Custom Report
Follow these steps to create a custom report to identify contact delivery methods.
- Navigate to the Reports + Analytics tab.
- Choose Reports.
- Select Create Report to create a new report.
- Select the report type Contacts.
- Drag the required data fields into the data fields section. Include at minimum the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- External ID
- Delivery Method
- Delivery Method Value
- Drag Delivery Method into the filters section.
The report can be configured to return all contacts with all delivery methods, or filtered to display a specific delivery method. Multiple delivery methods can be selected within the filter as needed.
