Problem:

Sending a notification to Nixle Channels from Everbridge Suite generates the following error:

You have selected Nixle Channels publish option, so email should be less than 20000 characters.

Root Cause:

Text that has been copied and pasted into a separate message for email notifications may contain hidden and/or extraneous characters which count against the character limit. If a separate message for email is sent using the Nixle Channels publishing option, the email must not exceed the 20,000 character limit.

Solution:

Save a .txt document that contains the message content and then copy and paste the message content into the message field.
