EBS: How Are Safety Variable Mappings Used in Incidents in Everbridge Suite?

Question:

How are safety variable mappings used in incidents in Everbridge Suite?

Answer:

When contacts use the safety connection features on the Everbridge Mobile App to trigger incidents, safety variable mappings allow certain variables to be included in incidents.

  • Phone Number
  • SOS URL

  4. Click on New Variable.
  5. Select the type Textbox.
  6. Enter a name, for example; geo-point.
  7. Enter a character limit.
  8. Click OK.
