Mobile: How to Enable Country Risk Reports in the Everbridge Mobile App

As a traveler or travel planner, checking a country's risk assessment is part of any pre-trip planning. This article describes how to enable pre-trip country risk reports in the Everbridge Mobile App so that contacts can easily check the risk ratings of the countries to which they're traveling.

Enabling Country Reports in the Manager Portal

Please follow the steps below in the Everbridge Suite Manager Portal to enable pre-trip country risk reports in the Everbridge Mobile App.

  1. If you are an Account Administrator, log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner. If you are any other role, skip to step 2.
  2. Select Settings from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Everbridge Mobile App from the drop-down menu.

  1. Select Application Options from the menu on the left.
  2. Select Safety from the sub-menu.

  1. Select + Add a custom button.

  1. Choose button type Content.

  1. Fill in the Name and Description fields with the appropriate values, such as "Country Reports" and "View country reports."

  1. Add explanatory text in the rich-text-format (RTF) editor.

  1. Check Show Country Reports and, finally, select Save.

Accessing Country Reports in the Everbridge Mobile App

After following the steps above, contacts can access country risk reports in the Everbridge Mobile App by taking the following steps.

  1. Select the shield icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.

  1. Select Country Reports (or whatever name was chosen in step 8 above).

  1. Select the country whose report you wish to see (e.g., Afghanistan).
