EBS: Accessing the Everbridge Member Portal Generates the Error ‘Your connection Is not private’ and the URL Changes

Problem

Accessing the Everbridge CEM Suite member portal generates the following error:

Your connection is not private

Root Cause

The member portal URL was shortened by a service such as bitly, which changes the URL. In this case 'support' was changed to 'ww2' which is not a valid URL for accessing the Everbridge member portal.

Unsecure Member Portal

Solution

Use the correct URL for the organization's member portal. To find the organization's member portal, see knowledge article EBS: Accessing the Member Portal From the Manager Portal in Everbridge Suite.
