EBS: Why Is the Number to Join a Conference Bridge in Everbridge Suite Formatted Differently for Contacts When Receiving Email Notifications?

Question:

Why is the number to join a conference bridge in Everbridge Suite formatted differently for contacts when receiving email notifications?

Answer:

Conference Bridge Dial-in Number Format

Conference bridge email notifications are designed to present the dial-in number to message recipients in the local format as determined by the country setting in their contact profile.

In the example to the right, a conference bridge notification was sent to three contacts in three different countries. The contact at the top is located in Austria, the contact in the center is located in Japan, and the contact at the bottom is located in the United States.

NOTE: If a country is not selected in a contact profile, the number format will default to the selection made in the organization settings.
