Why does a contact have a "Last Modified By" value of "Member Portal", "Member API", or "Everbridge"?

Answer

A contact will have a "Last Modified By" value of "Everbridge" under the following circumstances:

  • The contact registers for an organization's Member Portal and then logs in to the member application (e.g., the Everbridge Mobile app).
  • The contact registers for the member application.
  • The contact registers their mobile device for the member application.
  • The contact logs in to the member application or the Member Portal via SSO.

A contact will have a "Last Modified By" value of "Member Portal" under the following circumstances:

  • The contact saves a modification made to their profile in the Member Portal.

A contact will have a "Last Modified By" value of "Member API" under the following circumstances:

  • The contact registers for a secure messaging app.
  • The contact registers for a secure messaging app using a keyword.
