What country codes should be used for contacts located in a Crown dependency, such as Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey or the United Kingdom?

Answer

Crown dependencies utilize their own unique country codes, however the phone numbers for contacts who reside in those dependencies may use a different country code, most often the United Kingdom.

Phone numbers may be checked if they are UK-based or not by visiting the following page: http://www.area-codes.org.uk/mobile/. It is recommended to check a contact's phone number first before performing an upload or editing the device address for the contact record.

When editing the device address for contact records who have phone numbers in Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey or the United Kingdom, select the appropriate country in the Device address field.
