How does the SMS call back feature work when used with a polling notification in Everbridge Suite?
Answer:
When a polling message is used for a notification, recipients are presented with options to answer poll.
If SMS call back is enabled (checked in the settings pane), the SMS recipients will be provided with a call back number to make their polling selection.
If SMS call back is disabled (unchecked in the settings pane), the SMS recipients will be presented with a menu to select their polling choice directly from their device. Recipients responding in this fashion may be charged by their carriers for sending a text message.
