How to use shapes to select contacts for a notification in Everbridge Suite.

Description

Contacts can be selected for a notification by drawing shapes around specific locations. Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the upper right-hand corner.
2. Click on the Notifications tab.
3. Click New Notification.
4. Create the notification as desired.
5. From the Select Contacts pane, click Map.
6. Position the map to where the shape will be drawn.
7. Click Select Contacts.
8. Click Draw Shapes.
9. Click Polygon.
   1. Click once to create a point to start the shape.
   2. Continue clicking once per point to create the shape.
   3. Double-click to complete the shape.
10. Click Select from the upper right-hand side of the screen.
11. Create the rest of the notification and click Send.

Troubleshooting Polygon Selection

If your polygon is not selecting contacts correctly, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Manually redraw the shape to see if contacts can be selected.
2. Check for any self-intersections in the polygon's boundary.
3. Verify the polygon's vertices to ensure they create a valid, non-intersecting shape.
