How to send notifications to an email distribution list in Everbridge Suite.


A new or existing contact can be used to notify a distribution list. A distribution list can be treated like any other email address to receive alerts by using the email delivery method.

Users with permission to create, edit, and delete contacts can follow the steps below to set up a distribution list within a contact:

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click the Contacts tab from the top of the page.
  3. Click on the pencil icon next to the desired contact.
  4. Under the Delivery Methods pane, select the preferred email delivery method.
  5. Enter the distribution list email address.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
