Problem

IPAWS credentials are not working for IPAWS certificates.

Root Cause

Credentials for IPAWS test and live certificates (including the associated credentials file used by Everbridge Suite) are managed and issued by FEMA. If the credentials or credentials file provided by FEMA are incorrect, expired, or misconfigured, IPAWS certificate authentication and related integrations in Everbridge Suite will fail.

Solution

Because FEMA manages all IPAWS credentials and credential files, you must first contact IPAWS technical support to verify and, if needed, obtain corrected credentials/credentials file:

After FEMA provides corrected credentials or a corrected credentials file, if you still experience issues uploading or using the file in Everbridge Suite, contact Everbridge Technical Support for additional assistance with the Everbridge-side configuration.
