To target a Group linked to a Calendar as part of a Notification

When a notification or incident notification targeting a group is sent, each selected group will be checked for a linked calendar before broadcasting so that the notification is sent to the on-call contacts on the linked calendar. If the group is sequenced, the sequence is honored.
  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Select Incidents from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Templates from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select and Edit your template.
  5. Select Contacts from the menu on the left.
  6. Under Groups select your targeted Group.
  7. Under SENDING OPTIONS select the checkbox next to Send to linked calendar for all selected groups.
  8. Click Save.
