EBS: How to Record a Custom Voice Greeting to Be Used as a Default Voice Greeting for All Notifications From Everbridge Suite

Topic

How to record a custom voice greeting to be used as a default voice greeting for all Notifications from Everbridge Suite.

Description

A greeting is what your contacts hear before the message of your voice call starts. To ensure that a message is completely heard by contacts, it's best to limit the greeting to five seconds.

There are three ways to customize either priority or non-priority greetings for voice calls instead of using the system's default greeting. See each respective section to customize the greeting by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Notifications > Phone - Voice Greeting.

The Phone - Voice Greeting page allows customization of a voice greeting for two types of calls:

  • Non-Priority Greeting: messages from the Organization that are not selected as high priority.
  • Priority Greeting: messages from the Organization that are selected as high priority.
