EBS: Disabling Registration Emails for Contacts That Use Single Sign-on (SSO) IDs When Logging Into the Everbridge Suite Member Portal


How to disable registration emails for contacts that use Single Sign-On (SSO) IDs.


NOTE: This option is only available for Private Organizations.

First, ensure that the organization is enabled at the Account level for Single Sign-On:

  1. Login to the Manager Portal as an Account Administrator.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Security on the left side of the page.
  4. Click Single Sign-On for Member Portal.
  5. Find the desired organization from the list and click the checkbox under Member Portal to enable Single Sign-On.

Now the registration email for contacts with Single Sign-On ID's can be disabled:

  1. Login to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand side of the page.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the Member Portal sub-tab.
  4. Click on the checkbox next to Disable registration email for SSO User.

By selecting this, the ability to send out Everbridge registration emails to contacts is disabled.
