How to download and manage an Organization's SSH key for SFTP. This SSH key is used to configure the connection between your SFTP client and Everbridge Suite, in order to transfer a CSV upload file.
Description
The SFTP SSH key used with Everbridge Suite is configured at the organization level and is managed in the Manager Portal.
To download an Organization's SSH key for SFTP, please follow the steps below:
Log in to the Manager Portal and select your organization.
Select Settings > Organization > Contacts/Assets > Upload Options.
Under Secure FTP, click the Download button. This will download the SSH key, which is used for the connection. Everbridge-generated SSH keys for SFTP do not expire.
If your organization uses its own SSH key pair (for example, generated by your internal IS or security team) and you need to replace or update the key used with Everbridge:
Have your internal IS/security or HR IS team generate the new SSH key as required by your policies.
An Everbridge Account Admin (or other user with the appropriate permissions) must then upload or configure that new key under Settings > Organization > Contacts/Assets > Upload Options in the Secure FTP section.
After adding the new key, verify that it appears correctly in the Secure FTP list and that any previous key has been removed or marked as expired so that only the intended active key is listed.

Ensure that the same SSH key is configured in your SFTP client for authentication to Everbridge, and complete the change before any old key's expiry date (if applicable).
If you need to download the PGP key to encrypt your CSV upload file, see knowledge article EBS: How to Generate a File Encryption Key for Contact and/or Asset SFTP Uploads.
