Problem
When using Email Ingestion in Everbridge, the following error occurs:
Sorry, you can't access this resource!
Root Cause
This error can be caused by:
A web browser caching issue
Certain content in the message fields, such as file paths, file names, or file types that may trigger the error
Role-based access restrictions - your default user role may not have administrative permissions in the specific organization where you're attempting to access email ingestions
Using an incorrect role when you have multiple roles across different organizations
Solution
Try the following troubleshooting steps:
Clear your web browser's cache and cookies
Check the contents of the message fields to ensure there are no file paths, file names, or file types that may be triggering the error
Try reproducing the issue on a different computer
Use an incognito browser window to test if the issue persists
Verify your user role: Ensure you're logged in with the correct organization admin role for the specific organization
If you have multiple roles, set your default role to an organization admin for the organization you want to access
Try using an Account Admin role if available
If the error persists, contact Everbridge technical support with your Organization Name, Organization ID, specific error message, and steps you've already taken to resolve the issue
