Description:

One way to publish your notifications is via a web widget. As of March 15, 2023, Everbridge provides you with the ability to configure multiple web widgets for your organization.

Prerequisite: The Everbridge Web Widget must be enabled for your account. If you do not see the Everbridge Web Widget option when performing the steps below, please contact Everbridge Technical Support to have this feature enabled.

To set up the Everbridge Web Widget, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Everbridge manager portal and select the organization where you want the web widget to be available. 
  2. Select Settings from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Organization from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Publishing Options from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Everbridge Web Widget from the sub-menu.
  6. Enable the web widget by toggling the Enable Everbridge Web Widget radio button to the On position.
  7. Select + Add Widget to configure one or more web widgets for your organization.

Everbridge Web Widget Configuration Options:

  • To edit an individual widget, select the pencil icon under 'Action' to the right of the widget:

  • You can set one of the widgets as a default widget. The default widget is selected if "Everbridge Web Widget" is selected as one of the PUBLISHING OPTIONS when launching a notification.

  • Although multiple web widgets may be configured for an organization, only one web widget can be selected within a Template or Notification.
 
  • Broadcast settings:

  • You can set the broadcast duration to the same as the notification by selecting Same as Broadcast Duration, or
  • You can customize the duration by toggling the Custom radio button and selecting one of the following options from the drop-down:
  • 15 Minutes
  • 30 Minutes
  • 60 Minutes
  • 1 Day (24 Hours)
  • 3 Days (72 Hours)
  • 1 Week (7 Days)
  • 2 Weeks (14 Days
  • 1 Month (30 Days)
  • 2 Months (60 Days)
  • 3 Months (90 Days)
  • 6 Months (180 Days)
  • 9 Months (270 Days)
  • 1 Year (365 Days)
  • During the launch of a notification, you may define the length of the broadcast duration by selecting Set End Time by Calendar and specifying the date and time the broadcast should end.
