How to change the Record Type that is automatically assigned to a Contact when they first sign up for the Member Portal in Everbridge Suite.


Portal Contact Record Type Selection

When contacts sign up to a public member portal they are automatically assigned a record type that is specified in the organization settings. To change the contact record type for contacts that sign up for the member portal, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click on the Settings tab from the top of the page.
  3. Click the Member Portal sub-tab.
  4. Select the desired Contact Record Type from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click Save.
