How to send a forgot password email to Everbridge users.

An Everbridge Administrator can send a forgot password email to Everbridge users by following the steps below.

In a world where everything needs a somewhat complicated password, we're all bound to forget one at some point.

Go to www.manager.everbridge.net

1. Manager Portal Login

If an Everbridge User forgets their password, they can use the Forgot Password self-service option at the Manager Portal login page.

And reset it themselves from the login page.

By entering their Username.

And answering their Secret Question.

If the information entered is correct, an email will be received with next steps to login.

9. Administrator Reset Introduction

However, as an Administrator within Everbridge, you can also help your users reset their password to regain their access to the Manager Portal. You can easily do this by sending them a Forgot Password email.

10. Dashboard

To do this as an Administrator, start from the Manager Portal dashboard.

Hover over Settings.

Then hover over Access.

And select Users.

Search through the list of user names to find the person who needs to reset their login credentials.

This can be done by using the First Name and Last Name search, or through an Advanced Search.

Once you have found the User.

Click the pencil icon next to their name.

The Update User page appears.

From this page, click the button with three dots.

Click Send a Forgot Password email.

A message will appear letting you know you've successfully sent the email.

The system sends the user a temporary password that is valid for 72 hours.

It's important to note that if a user does not reset the password within 72 hours

The temporary password expires and they must request the update password process to be performed again.

Those in administrative roles can only send A forgotten password email if the user can not recall their secret question answer.
