How to modify the sender caller ID for a notification template in Everbridge Suite.
The sender caller ID for a notification template cannot be edited if permission to edit it has not been allowed. The sender caller ID will appear in gray text when a template's settings are edited.
To allow permission to edit the sender caller ID, follow the steps below:
Log in to the Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the upper left-hand corner.
Click on the Settings tab from the top of the page.
Click on Notifications from the left of the page.
Click Sender Information from the sub-menu.
Select the checkbox next to Allow notification sender to edit sender email and sender caller ID.
When creating or updating a caller ID, keep in mind the following:
Although the Everbridge Suite platform will use the selected caller ID for each voice notification, some downstream voice carriers may modify or omit the caller ID value when delivering the voice call to the recipient's phone.
The caller ID should be a valid phone number that can be called back if needed.
The caller ID should be a full phone number that begins with the specific 1 to 4 digit country code.
