EBS: Can Contacts Have Everbridge Break Glass Credentials if They Log into the Member Portal via Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Question:

Can contacts have Everbridge Break Glass credentials if they log in to the member portal via Single Sign-On?

Answer:

In situations where contacts require access into the member portal and are unable to access it with their SSO credentials, Break Glass credentials will allow the contact access the member portal.

  1. Login to the Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the upper right-hand side of the page.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the Member Portal sub-tab.
  4. Click on the checkbox next to Disable registration email for SSO User to deselect it.

By deselecting the checkbox users are able to send member portal registration invitations to any contact desired to have a Break Glass account.
