Description:

This article describes how to backup the list of contacts within an organization, the list of users within an organization, and the list of users within an account. A backup of contacts or users consists of a downloaded CSV file.

Important: Everbridge recommends backing up contact databases on a monthly basis. Maintaining this habit will provide a better opportunity for recreating a contact database in the event it needs to be restored.

  Backup Organization Contacts

  1. Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Select Contacts/Assets from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Contacts from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Contact List from the second drop-down menu.
  5. Click the Download button.

This will download a CSV file that contains all of the contacts that exist within the organization.

 

Backup Organization Users

  1. Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Select Access from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Users from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Download button.

This will download a CSV file that contains all of the users that exist within the organization.

NOTE: This download does not include users across the entire account. to download users across the entire account follow the steps below.

 

Backup All Account Users

  1. Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal at the account level.
  2. Select Users from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Users from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Download button.
