Overview
The Audio Bulletin Board (ABB) is a feature that enables your constituents to retrieve an audio message at their convenience. It is similar to a voicemail system, where you leave a message and others retrieve the message.
This feature can be important to you if you are unable to reach all the constituents affected by an event or an Incident that would affect those constituents. For instance, you need to notify the surrounding community of the status of a hospital or government building that was closed for safety reasons.

Retrieving Messages
Your constituents can access all available messages by dialing one of the available phone numbers listed above. They will be prompted for your Organization ID, so please provide them with the phone number for their region and either your default Organization ID or, if configured, your shorter Custom Organization ID from your Settings page.
Standard ABB callers typically need to enter the full Organization ID, which can be up to 15–16 digits long, unless you configure a shorter Custom Organization ID. This is the main difference in caller experience compared to Premium Audio Bulletin Board (PABB), where callers only dial a dedicated phone number and do not enter an Organization ID or PIN.
To find your Organization ID:
Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired Organization from the upper right-hand corner. Note that if you're only part of a single Organization, you won't be able to choose another.
Navigate to Settings > Organization > Base Information.
To configure a Custom Organization ID (optional):
In the Manager Portal, go to Settings > Organization.
In the Custom Organization ID field, enter up to 10 digits and select Save. Once configured, callers can use this shorter custom ID instead of the longer default Organization ID when retrieving ABB messages, as long as they also dial a valid Customer Access Number.
-
The organization ID will display under Organization Details.
Premium Audio Bulletin Board (PABB)
-
Premium Audio Bulletin Board (PABB) provides a dedicated phone number for your organization and removes the need for callers to enter an Organization ID or PIN when accessing ABB messages. Callers simply dial your dedicated number to retrieve available messages.
PABB appears as an additional publishing option alongside the standard Audio Bulletin Board when you are composing a notification or configuring an incident template. The dedicated phone number you receive is tied to that PABB configuration and is what your callers use as part of the publishing and notification process to retrieve the audio messages you post.
To explore enabling PABB for your account, including full functionality details and associated costs, contact your Account Manager or request an Implementations discussion through your account team. They can coordinate enablement and provide pricing and implementation guidance.
