How to unlock a locked Everbridge user account.

Description

A user can unlock a user account directly from the Manager Portal login page:

  1. From the Manager Portal login page, click on unlock your account

  1. Enter a username.

  1. Click Continue. An email will be sent to the registered email address with instructions to click on a link.

  1. Click on the link in the email

  1. Answer the security question

  1. Click Submit
  1. The user account is then unlocked

Note: If you are unable to log into your Everbridge account due to a locked account and a password that is not working, you can also follow these steps to unlock your account and reset your password:

  1. Click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page to initiate the password reset process.
  2. Follow the instructions provided to unlock your account and set a new password.
  3. Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to successfully log into your Everbridge account.

Important: Your Everbridge account may be locked after three failed login attempts. If you are unable to unlock your account using the self-service methods described above, you may need to contact an Everbridge administrator for your organization to assist you.
