EBS: Notifications in Everbridge Suite Sent to Contacts in Mexico Are Not Received

Problem:

Notifications sent to contacts in Mexico are not received.

Root Cause:

The phone numbers entered for contacts in Mexico are invalid.

Solution:

  • When dialing or sending voice notifications to landlines in Mexico, a leading "1" should NOT be used before the 10-digit number.
  • When dialing or sending voice notifications to mobile (cell) phone numbers in Mexico, a leading "1" should NOT be used before the 10-digit number.
  • When texting or sending SMS notifications to mobile (cell) phone numbers in Mexico, a leading "1" should NOT be used before the 10-digit number.
