Problem:

Links in SMS messages do not work on non-smartphones.

Root Cause:

Non-smartphones do not support using links in SMS messages generated by the SmartPath Single SMS functionality. See knowledge base article 000063163 - EBS: Everbridge SmartPath: Single SMS for more information.

Workaround:

It is recommended that SMS messaging be kept short enough where a URL is not required. It is also recommended to use multi-modal delivery for notifications so that recipients are at a greater chance to receive the full message.
