Problem

Loading an SFTP public key in Everbridge Suite (Settings > Organization > Contacts/Assets > Upload Options) generates the following error:

 The public key is invalid.

Root Cause

The public key does not meet the minimum key size of 2048. The Everbridge system supports three kinds of key sizes 2048, 4096, and 3072. The default key size is 3072.

Solution
