How to create risk events to trigger alerts on the VCC map.

Description

A Visual Command Center (VCC) Operator can create risk events to trigger alerts on the VCC map by following the steps below to create an Operator Entered Risk event:

1. Log in to Visual Command Center.
2. Click on the Risk Events feed on the right.
3. Scroll down the dropdown menu and click on Operator Entered Risk.
4. Click Create New Item.
   
5. Click Point or Area and select the area on the map for which the risk event is taking place.
6. Create the area for the risk event on the map.
   
   
   1. NOTE: Ensure that any assets affected are within the created area. This will trigger an alert.
7. Enter a Title.
   
8. Optionally, enter a Summary.
9. Select a Category from the dropdown menu.
10. Enter an Event Start and End Date/Time.
11. Click Save.
