VCC: Why Don't Alerts Appear on the Visual Command Center (VCC) Map When Contacts Check in Using the Everbridge Mobile App (EMA)

Question:

Why don't contacts appear dynamically on the VCC (Visual Command Center)  map when contacts check in using the Everbridge Mobile App?

Answer:

You will need to refresh the VCC map to visually see a contact check-in from the Everbridge Mobile App. Contacts are alertable once the data from a check-in is pushed to VCC through the Everbridge Mobile App.
