Contact Tracing: Step by Step Registration, Installation, Configuration and Login Access to the Contact Tracer App From the Everbridge Mobile App on Apple iOS

Environment:

Apple iOS

Topic:

Step by step registration, installation, configuration and login access to the Contact Tracer App from the Everbridge Mobile App (EMA) on Apple iOS.

Description:

When using Contact Tracing on Apple iOS, two applications are required:

  • Everbridge Mobile App
  • Contact Tracer App

For more information as to why two separate applications are needed on Apple iOS, please see knowledge base article 000049466 - Contact Tracing: Why Is Everbridge Releasing a Separate Mobile App (EVBG CT IOS) For Proximity-Based Contact Tracing on iOS Devices?

Prior to the September 2021 Everbridge Mobile App release, these applications were accessed and installed separately. With the latest release of the Everbridge Mobile App, you can now use your Everbridge Mobile App credentials to login to the Everbridge Contact Tracer App as well as install and configure the app(s) for first-time users.
