NC4 - E Team - R9.8 Patches - Are there any specific browser settings or steps needed?

For all browsers, users are advised to clear their browser cache after an E Team patch update has been  deployed. Clearing your cache ensures that you get the most current E Team web page. After performing the steps below close your browser window and re-launch browser then go back to E Team.

Chrome:

  1. Select More Tools from your Chrome menu.
  2. Select Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Check Cached images and files.
  4. Click Clear Data.

Firefox:

  1.  Select Options from your Firefox menu.
  2. Select Privacy and Security.
  3. Under Cookies and Site Data select Clear Data.
  4. In the pop-up window, check Cached Web Content.
  5. Click Clear.

Internet Explorer:

  1. Select Tools from your IE menu.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. Under Browsing History click Delete.
  4. In the Browsing History window, check Temporary Internet files and website files.
  5. Click Delete.

 In addition for users of Internet Explorer you may need to deselect the default Intranet Compatibility setting.

  1. Select Tools from your IE menu.
  2. Select Compatibility View settings.
  3. Uncheck Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
  4. Click Close.
