NC4 - E Team - R9.8 Installation / Upgrade - Pre-installation Instructions

Before installing the E Team application, please make sure the following steps are taken:

1. Please identify the server(s) on which the installation is to be Also, please ensure that the administrator username and password is available. Installation will be performed by logging into the server as an administrator.
2. Make sure that SQL Server 2012/2016, is installed and an SQL Server Administrator is available to assist as necessary.
3. Create two new databases on the SQL Server or two schema on the Oracle Server named, ETEAMOP and ETEAMTR. The database owner of both databases will be user ‘eteam’ with password ‘eteam’.
   
   For SQL Server, ‘eteam’ must be the owner of both databases, i.e. ‘eteam’ should have ‘db_owner’ and system administration role.
